Group Supervision
Group Supervision: Developing Confident & Trauma-Informed Therapists
“It feels amazing to have clarity about what you are doing and enjoy the fulfillment that comes from clients telling you that you changed their lives (You know it is not simply a miracle. It is the natural result of effective therapy.)”

As an LCPC and Maryland Board Approved Supervisor, I am passionate about supporting the next generation of clinicians. My practice specializes in trauma, relationships, and culturally responsive psychotherapy. Following the success of my recent training on emotional avoidance, I am forming a new supervision group to share this journey with early-career therapists.

Effective therapy is more than just years of practice; it is the integration of intentionality and accurate conceptualization. My approach is collaborative and trauma-informed, encouraging curiosity over perfection as you develop your authentic clinical voice. We focus on:
Real-time awareness of the therapeutic connection and "in-the-moment" moves.
Conceptualization through attachment theory, neuroscience, and trauma work.
Integration of EFT, IFS, Feminism, and somatic interventions.
Culturally sensitive assessment and attunement.

Since day one, I have found great joy and fulfillment in my work with my clients. Therapy work is by no means easy. I learned a lot from my clients, training, and my daily reflection. One piece of feedback that I’m proud of comes from my peer – You know what you are doing.
Yes, that simple statement, I would say, captures the key reason I feel confident as a therapist. Years of practice are important but not the key. Effective therapy comes from the awareness of what is going on in the counseling room in the moment (with the client, with the therapist, with the connection), the intentional moves moment by moment, combined with the overall accurate conceptualization of the client's struggle through the lenses of attachment theory, neuroscience, and trauma work.
