STEPPING IN: Group Therapy for Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Families
This 8-week support group is a compassionate space for adults (21+) of all backgrounds look for deeper understanding of attachment wounds and healing through self-empowerment and community support.
Many adults grow up in families where emotions were dismissed, criticized, ignored, or overwhelmed by conflict. As children, we learn to adapt by becoming self-reliant, people-pleasing, high-achieving, emotionally guarded, or constantly responsible for others. These strategies may have helped us survive, but they can later leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves and from the people we care about.
This online processing group is designed for adults who were raised in emotionally immature families and want to better understand how those early experiences continue to shape their relationships, self-worth, boundaries, and emotional life today.
